Partnership with the private sector is essential for promoting agricultural innovation by leveraging research achievements. This is why CORAF has chosen the theme “Enhancing Collaboration with the Private Sector in West and Central Africa to Mitigate the Impact of Climate, Health, and Security Crises on Agriculture” for the 14th Ordinary Session of its General Assembly, scheduled for April 2024 in Cotonou, Benin.
In this spirit, CORAF paid a courtesy visit to the EBOMAF Foundation on the sidelines of the Third Edition of the Agricultural Innovations and Technologies Market (MITA 2023) on Thursday, September 15, 2023, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The CORAF delegation, led by Mrs. Safouratou ADARIPARE, Director of Management Services, was received by Mr. Aly SYLLA, Human Resources Officer, representing the Foundation’s Director-General. Established in 2019, the Foundation carries out humanitarian actions in favor of the most disadvantaged and marginalized populations.
The meeting allowed for a review of collaboration and partnership options between CORAF and the Foundation, beginning with the highly anticipated participation of the Foundation in the 14th Ordinary Session of CORAF’s General Assembly.
