Experience

I have over 10 years in the academia and research. I have worked with projects like Optimizing Fertilizer Recommendation in Africa (OFRA) and COWPEA ATLAS. I am currently participating in the following researches at my Institute:

-Making the best of the season for optimum productivity of maize varieties through appropriate seed bed preparation and sowing date.

-Optimizing yield, income and Environmental Sustainability in Maize-Cowpea Intercropping Systems through Regenerative Agriculture in Northern Nigeria.

-Simulation of yields of some IAR maize (Zea mays L.) varieties under different nitrogen rates with CERES-maize (DSSAT v4.6) model in Alfisols of Samaru, Northern Guinea Savanna of Nigeria.
