Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist
I am an International Development professional specialized in monitoring & evaluation with deep experience working with USAID, EU, African Development Bank, World Bank, UN Agencies (WFP, FAO, UNICEF).
Has worked extensively in Africa including managing and conducting Emergency and No-Emergency monitoring and evaluations activities.
Have extensive experience in leading monitoring and evaluation for complex, multisectoral programmes and projects and managing the interests of multiple stakeholders throughout research process.
My career includes roles as, Chief of Soil Science Department with the Faculty of Agronomy in Niamey /Niger, Head of M&E and Knowledge Management Unit with CORAF West and Central Africa, Senior M&E at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)- a Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR)- Ibadan, Nigeria, DCOP for Third-Party monitoring activities in Congo DR, Director M&E and Economic Analysis of the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) -Niger.
Through my work, I communicated and collaborated with high-level African governments actors, international and national agriculture research centers, universities, multilateral and bilateral donors, civil society leaders, private companies, on project implementation as well as policy development and Capacity Development.
Hold a PhD in Agriculture Soil Science & Crop production from the Prestigious National Institute Agronomic of Paris-Grignon (AgroParisTech) - France and Advanced Diploma in Environment from the University of Tunis El Manar II. I speak both French and English.

Currently managing a Decentralized Evaluation of a Joint WFP-FAO-UNICEF Resilience Programme in Democratic Republic of Congo, I spent over 20 years of my career across Africa, and this gives me a vast experience I can share across the world. Some examples as follow:
· Managed four million US$ M&E budget to lead a team and M&E activities (1 year) with US-Millennium Challenge Account Niger (MCA-NIGER), on Agriculture, Resilience, livestock, Irrigation, and Infrastructure Development.
· Led a team of up to 20 staffs for monitoring & data collection, reporting activities and coordinating USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance Implementing Partners (1 year) in Republic Democratic of Congo DRC.
· Led monitoring, evaluation, data collection, impact assessment and reporting (2 years) with USAID funded Project on agriculture and food systems projects in 23 countries (Benin , Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape-Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinee Conakry, Guinee-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Republic Democratic of Congo, Senegal, Sierra Leone, , Togo, Sao Tomé-et-Principe) for the West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF)- Dakar, Senegal. www.coraf.org.
· Led M&E and impact assessment activities (5 years) for a large food security and income generation program fincluding youth and gender, or the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)- Ibadan HQ Ibadan, Nigeria, www.iita.org. The Programme was funded by the African Development Bank and implemented in 20 countries (Benin Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe) on strategic agriculture value chains of Africa (Maize, Rice, Cassava, Wheat) The role also includes managing mid-and-end term Evaluation in the above countries.
· Led M&E and capacity building efforts (1 year 7 months) for European Union (EU)- Africa-wide animal Health and Animal production Portfolio of 80,400,000€ across Africa with African Union-International Bureau of Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) to implement the AU-IBAR Strategic Plan 2010-2014.
· Directed M&E activities (5 years) for food security, land, and water resource management project active in nine countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria) focused on cash for work, with programming focused on restoring degraded land in the Niger River Basin.
