Pierre Martin has been a researcher in computer modeling at CIRAD (Center for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development) since 1996. He develops Artificial Intelligence based methods for representing and reasoning about knowledge applied to agriculture in relation to sustainable development. One of his current areas of interest is plants with pesticidal and antibiotic properties (www.knomana.org). Pierre also contributed to ANSES (French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety) through his expertise.
